About the Founder:
Originally from Albuquerque, NM, Edward “Bo” Lacy is a 1996 graduate of the physical therapy program at Howard University. He has spent the majority of his 20 year career in outpatient orthopedics, with an emphasis on sports and industrial rehabilitation. Bo received his Strength and Conditioning certification in 2005 from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, expanding his skill set by adding the post-rehabilitation aspect of personal training and athletic performance. Bo has his athletic background in football, track and field, and volleyball as a player and coach, as well as recreational basketball as a player. Over the past five years, Bo has developed and expanded his theories on “functional fitness,” and “functional strength” adding strongman and suspension (TRX) training to his repertoire. He has worked with clients from the “weekend warrior “ to the professional athlete to make the most of their athletic endeavors, or to return to sport from injury.
“I have an individualized, goal oriented, collaborative approach to personal training. I feel that I can help you to reach your fitness or athletic performance goals, while taking into account any injuries that you may have had. Helping you to reach your potential by strengthening your weak points, maximizing your strong points, and minimizing the risk of re-injury to deficient tissue is the goal of any program that I put together with you. Let’s work together to get you to where you want to be!”
